Their perseverance throughout the season comes from the teammate's support. Despite their first round loss to Warner Pacific, the team now knows how to become better for the next year. It's obvious that the first round loss hurts the team emotionally, but not their love for each other and for the game of basketball. It was clear to see this team loves God and they use that as motivation to play hard on the court. Even though it was a short trip, a lot of lessons were learned and the team was given an opportunity to showcase the character of our team.

Tough loss but even tougher character
From day one this has been a season that has tested the players in multiple ways. From being ranked number one in the country to losing seven of their next eleven games to then becoming the regular season MCC champions . Despite all of the tough losses and close victories the team remained consistent. Consistent with their character.
Throughout the tournament, the players and coaches have remained positive despite such a tough season. The coaches and fans have provided a strong support system throughout the season and especially during the NAIA tournament. However, the biggest support is between the players. On and off the court, the team had fun with the enjoying their time in Branson but also challenged each other on the court.
